Since the “Dual Carbon” goal proposed by the state governments, local government at all levels have successively issued policies related to energy-saving green data centers, strictly control the energy consumption of data centers, and promote the establishment of high-tech, high-energy-efficiency “Carbon-Neutral Data Centers”. In the next 3-5 years, data center technology trends will be mainly reflected in five aspects: renewable energy utilization, increasing on-site power generation, improving energy efficiency, developing energy storage technology, and exploring carbon capture and storage technologies. How to deal with data center carbon emissions technical challenges that continue to grow in the future and accelerating the green, low-carbon, orderly development of the data center industry are the direction that China’s IDC industry which needs to work hard for in the next few years.

In order to discuss the development trend of green data center and the latest technology applications under the background of “Dual Carbon”, the “7th Enterprise Data Center Innovation Summit” will be held in Shanghai on March 10^th, 2023.
